Rental Policies at McCurry Van & Car Rentals

When considering a vehicle rental from McCurry Van & Car Rentals, the primary renter must have a valid U.S. driver's license and a CREDIT OR DEBIT card in their name. These are vital prerequisites for our rental services. Additionally, proof of liability automobile insurance is a mandatory requirement. The primary renter and all additional drivers must meet specific age criteria, being over 25 for full-sized vans and over 21 for minivans, cars, and SUVs. Additional Drivers for Van Rentals

At McCurry Van & Car Rentals, we understand the need for flexibility in your travel plans. That's why we allow up to 2 additional drivers per rented vehicle at no extra charge, provided they meet all age, license, and insurance requirements. However, management approval may be required for more than two additional drivers. All additional drivers must carry automobile insurance and may need to present proof of coverage. Clear, legible photocopies of additional driver's licenses may be acceptable with management approval, while faxed copies are not accepted.

Payment and Security Deposits

We strive to make the process of payment and security deposits as transparent as possible. At the time of rental, all renters must present a MAJOR CREDIT or DEBIT card in their name, with available funds to secure the total rental cost. Please note that a security deposit may be requested if management deems it necessary or if an out-of-state license is used. We do not accept cash deposits or payments. Charges incurred during the rental period, such as additional rental days, mileage charges, late fees, fuel charges, lost keys, collision deductibles, or damages to the rented vehicle, may be applied to the card on file. For one-day rentals, a $10.00 cleaning fee will be incurred.

Van Rental Optional Counter Products: RCP

Rental Collision Protection (RCP) can be purchased at the rental counter and includes a $250 collision deductible. If an accident occurs, the renter is responsible for paying this deductible. RCP is supplemental insurance that helps cover McCurry Van & Car Rentals vehicles. All renters must have verifiable liability coverage.

Important Insurance Information

Renters who decline coverage offered by McCurry Van & Car Rental Inc. must provide proof of automobile insurance coverage at the time of rental, which transfers and covers our vehicle. All renter's insurance policies must include liability insurance. Renters should also carry hired and non-owned physical damage (collision) coverage that covers the rented van or car. Some personal automobile policies and coverage offered through credit cards may not cover full-size Cargo Vans or 12-—and 15-passenger vans.
